Ok so like I wanna hear abt other peoples experiences with piercings cuz I have a few in mind that I wanna get!! I was looking at Angel Fangs, an eyebrow piercing, a Tragus piercing, or maybe three helix piercings at the top of my ear🤔🤔 I think I’d hold back on the helix ones since that is like THREE piercings and stuff but I’m really interested in getting Angel Fangs!!
my rankings pain wise (I have a really good piercer shout-out Emily)
1st lobes 5/10 (re-pierced through scar tissue)
2 lobes 0/10 didn't even know she had done it lol
helix 1/10 really warm
septum 3/10 the clamp was more uncomfortable than the piercing itself
Healing wise
helix 2/10 my best piercing can withstand like anything and took a couple weeks to heal
lobes 4/10? painful to switch out and kinda fussy but that might just be me
septum 9/10 purely because of the crusty bits that build up and then scratch the inside of the healing piercing wound whenever it shifts slightly when you breathe lol ALSO you have to spray saline into your nose so thats kinda shit
Hoping to get either eyebrow or lip done this summer but i would deffo recommend a helix as a first piercing!! :-D

I think the helix idea is cool. I have my first and second lobes done and one helix, though I used to have two before it got infected. I also pierced my nose with a safety pin when I was thirteen (i def do not recommend this) but decided to take it out this year, as the position didn't really work with my nose shape lol
@lilybell my dad told me he got his friend or cousin or something to pierce his ears for him in a bathroom as a teen 😭😭
Tragus piercing hurt 3.5/5, the healing was the worst part, mine never quite healed. It forced itself out one night while i was sleeping. I don't recommend, but to each their own.
I had a helix, it wasn't quite the top of my ear, but it was a stud in the middle of the cartilage, if that makes sense. That one was like 3/5 pain wise... and I had it for years. I loved it.

I have my eyebrow and nostril done.
My nostril was so smooth, literally went through like nothing but a little pinch and healed perfectly. One bump but that was it, once it was gone it never came back and its been almost three years.

She has given me nothing but trouble. It was excruciating when i got it, genuinely so painful idk what that piercer did to me. Its been over two years and has never healed. It still gets red and crusty, still hurts at times. Sometimes it looks like its rejecting but never does.
Eyebrow piercings are known to be difficult tho so its slightly expected. I've heard from others that theirs was the least painful ever so idk
@selfishly_h0llow my friends have gotten their eyebrows pierced and I don’t think they’ve had much trouble but Ik people have different experiences </3
