I'm officially on Linux!

Back to Web & Tech

Moved just a couple of days ago, a friend showed me how, I hope someday it gets enough fixes to encourage even more average users to use it.

Microslop needs to be broken free from. I still have a lot to learn, but, I am enjoying it so far(I am on Mint CInnamon)

I feel you! I actually just split my SSD with Windows 11 and Zorin 18.1 Pro and itโ€™s amazing! I have to say, Iโ€™m considering moving everything over and forgetting Windows altogether lol

Debian user since 2008. never looked back. break free! do it!

sadly im on win10, because linux is so hard for me....i can't understand it

@penumbramenacing1337ย I think Linux Mint would be the best option if you want to switch! It's beginner friendly (it doesn't fully focus on the terminal), the installation is easy and its coming from someone who also recently just switched up :)

@penumbramenacing1337 Definitely give Zorin a try! Itโ€™s designed to look and feel ole your favourite OS!

if you don't ever try, you won't ever understand it. run zorin or mint live on a usb stick as long as you can stand it, then after a while you'll probably want to upgrade to an installation..

Welcome to the club! ๐Ÿ˜

Linux Mint is easiest for a Windows user, Bazzite is also good I hear.

I tried Mint in a Ventoy boot as a friend suggested, I feel in love with it, he showed me how to install Proton, Lutris, Steam, GOG, everything.
