I'm not into photography or anything but I have a couple fujifilm cameras and those are great I don't think you would regret buying one :D

@GazzyGaz ill take a look at them, thanks for the recommendation good sir!!

@saintlesscorpze can confirm !! i have a fujifilm (one of those silver ones) its lovely . the quality is super nice but it still has that nostalgic feeling especially when you take photos with the flash

EEPTY WARRIOR NO.1 !!!!!!!! Murrdoc Niccaalis

@saintlesscorpze definitely do your research! but imo they're great

Not recommending a specific brand, but also, I'd say try and find a thrifted camera if you're not too worried about quality. They're usually way cheaper and of decent quality if you're lucky. I've seen lots of pretty cheap and decent cameras on ebay as well as physical thrift store locations :)

i have a sony cybershot that takes SUPER cute photos, def recommend. i got it second hand from eBay cost around 150-200ish dollars usd

Out of all of my digicams, the ones I love the most are the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 from 2010 and the Nikon Coolpix 3200 from 2005. The nikon has that very old school camera quality to it, but xan be quite bulky to carry around, its SD card slot caps at 2GB (and is not compatible with sd-hc cards, normal sd cards may be a bit difficult to find now) and can take a bit to save pictures after taking them, making it horrible for capturing fast moments (moving objects, fireworks, etc). The sony on the other hand, is a yaw more lightweight and sleek camera, perfect to carry around. It captures images very fast and is compatible with sd-hc cards. Its images tend to look a bit warmer though (depending on the lighting, but it has more tendency to capture oranges undertones compared to the nikon). Both these cameras are pretty old, so they should be pretty cheap on the 2nd hand market.

It wouldn't be fair to suggest any digicams without showing pics that were taken using them, so here are a few :)

I hope this helps :D

i know nothing about actual camera knowledge buuutttttt i do have a Canon PowerShot ELPH 520 HS which i find to be a pretty easy camera for beginners!! it was my first camera (not sure of a price range sorryyy,, my friend gave it to me) and is pretty good quality. not sure about that nostalgic kinda blurry-on-purpose look but i think there are filters you can put on your photos after you take them (havent tested it out).

I’ve been using a canon powershot SD1000 for the past 3 years and i love it! It’s so easy to use and the quality is great :)

I got mine for free because it belonged to my parents but i’ve seen them go on ebay for about $130 which is really not bad for a good digicam in general

Yes dude hot take but canon cameras are just top tier. If you go through the comments so many suggested a canon camera no matter how old or new it is

don't know how helpful this is since Idk how the price of those little shits has changed, but I have a Canon digital ixus 70 from aaages ago (so you know they last super long lmfao ) and the quality is SO high with INSANE settings. The fact it's from 2004 or so and you can zoom in as much as you want already says a LOT. I can't upload pics rn but if you're really curious to know how the photos taken look like, I have a couple on my profile. I'm ngl I'd never replace this camera but I might just be biased :')
