i just got done watching "is god is" and holy shit i loved it. i loved how the characters are introduced and framed; we get a decent look into most of the characters beyond the main two, without spoon-feeding every single piece of information to us. i do wish this had a proper theatrical run so more people could have seen it in theaters, but if you like southern gothic movies with messy characters, you might enjoy this!
