it can definitely be eye catching, in the way that.. how is this.. real? Actually? i was shocked at the fruit island whatever thing that was happening, i thought it was a joke until i saw real ads going around with the characters.
i notice it most with my grandma, she'll watch it even though i tell her its fake. i cant tell if she catches on though. i think some part is the absurdity of it, the other half of genuinely being interested is.. beyond me. usually they have little to no depth about it, though when thats coupled with people struggling in education because of ai, it becomes less surprising. they dont need depth, just stimulation and theyll fill in the gaps.
