looking for anything you might think is a good edition to a minecraft world. can be literally anything btw, from regular mods to resource packs to shaders. to help narrow down the options, i use modrinth, and usually set my update on 1.21.1 using neoforge.
YUNG's mods are really good, they make temples and mineshafts and stuff more fun to explore
i use it w friends but origins mod is so fun 2 use when playing with other ppl. we have a whole smp around it and it affects everyones gameplay differently so ppl r less likely 2 get bored
its less of a mod and more of a server that you can also use the modpack, but if you like Pokémon too I highly suggest cobblemon.gg. its so fun. I was addicted for like 3 months ngl. I find it way more fun to play on the server with friends than my own world.
I've been having a lot of fun with the create mod, and it's addon create aeronautics. The machinery is very intuitive but can make super complex contraptions, it lets you pretend you're a real (un)civil engineer

A really cool horror mod called untitled.log is getting a huge update in a few days, it's got a lot of stuff to do and has some really cool gameplay mechanics.
