PAGERS R COOL

Flip phones are cool, too (i literally have one) BUT CAN WE BRING BACK PAGERS??? 

I've been wanting to get one so that I won't have to worry about data or signal cuz I like going out a lot, and most of the time, I end up in god-knows-where, so pagers seem like a really nifty way for anyone to contact me (MY PARENTS ESPECIALLY LOL)

Agreed, pagers were a super cool moment in history! And this reminds me that in the mid-late 2000s, after pagers had been discontinued from mainstream use, toy companies made 2 way pagers specifically for kids, in the style of sidekick and blackberry phones

I miss this era a lot lol but I just can't justify the price to buy a set secondhand 😬 Unfortunately they also had a range, most only worked within about 150-300 feet unless they were connected to a nationwide network, and a lot of those networks no longer exist :( So maybe do research to make sure they'll work in your region before committing to purchase any!

Pagernet/POSAG has been offline here in norway since 2003 due to monopol,I also found out recently about 4g/LTE pagers but they are 2 way (send receive) and only sold to EMS/fire etc..
