Mp3 player

Back to Web & Tech

I want to stop using Spotify and buy an mp3 player is there any good ones? Some are a bit pricey and I want to know if theyre worth it.

I had an ipod and it was pretty good! you need to have headphones with an aux plugin tho but other than that mine was really good while it lasted. they are pretty expensive but you can probably find some similar ones online for much cheaper.

It really depends on what you want it to do.

Do you want just music, or would you like videos as well?Do you want to use it to read ebooks? Do you want it to remember where you left off, or are you on permanent shuffle and it doesn't matter? Is no Bluetooth a deal breaker, or are you okay with corded headphones?

Case in point, I'm pretty simple, but I had to have true shuffle (goes through every album, doesn't get stuck), I wanted my audiobooks (which doesn't mix well with shuffle), and didn't mind corded headphones. My solution was to get two $20 cheapies, one for music and one for my books.

My friend likes to have videos and music, and likes bluetooth, so she got an old iPod Nano.

Determine what your unnegotiable needs are, and then go from there. As nice as some of the more expensive ones are, they just might not give you what you're looking for.
