yess, it's so good! serial experiments lain is one of those shows that has such a specific atmosphere and feeling to it. definitely the kind of series that sticks with you after you finish :')

It is not my personal favorite but it is a series that definitely alters your way of thinking. I watched it when I was 15 & it was really something that makes you think about yourself and society at the end of it.
the show and game is super awesome. i own the visual experiments lain art book and it has one of my favorite pieces of lain art

I started to watch it when I was about 16? But I never finished it. I got to episode 7 I think, and just never continued. I suck at finishing the show's I put on. . .

yes!! the guy who did illustrations for serial experiments lain also did some for haibane renmei, which is also soooo good, i feel like it has a similar vibe, so anyone who likes lain will probably like haibane renmei as well!!!:3

I wanna watch it but I dunno where its available O.o
I love the series! I watched it late last year and it rewrote my brain chemistry lol. The art direction and sound design are both incredible.
I enjoyed it overall, though the ending was a bit lackluster for me. I can't deny its impact though and uniqueness, however. Great show.
