This guide walks through customizing a retro MySpace-style profile on FriendRewind from zero to done in about 15 minutes. No HTML or CSS required — the visual builder handles everything. Advanced users can skip to the CSS tab.
Go to friendrewind.com/register.php and create a free account. No invite code, no email verification hassle, no payment.
From your profile, click Edit Profile then the Layouts tab, or navigate directly to /layouts/create.php to open the visual builder. You can also skip this step and apply a community-made layout from /layouts/.
Browse the community layout gallery and preview designs. One-click apply any layout that fits your vibe — scene, gothic, kawaii, Y2K, anime, minimalist, and more. To start from scratch, open the Visual Builder tab.
In the Visual Builder, pick your page background color or image, tweak header gradients, choose text colors, and set the background for your content boxes. The preview updates live as you change settings.
Pick from the built-in Google Fonts list or paste a custom font URL. For retro vibes, add a custom cursor URL from cursors-4u.net or similar archives.
Go to the Music section and search the library or pick one of your own uploads. Set it as your profile song — it plays automatically when visitors arrive.
Open the blinkie creator at /blinkie-creator to make animated blinkie banners, then copy the embed code into your About Me, interests, or any custom HTML field on your profile.
From your profile, click Edit Top 8 and drag the eight friends you want to feature. Yes, this starts drama. That is the point.
Click Save Layout. Your customizations are applied instantly. Share your profile URL with friends, paste it on other sites, or link it from your Instagram bio. Your profile belongs to you.
