I like general literature, but unfortunately, I haven't been reading much recently. I have a fondness for poetry, and one of my hobbies is writing poems, short stories, thoughts, etc. I also like fashion and try to have my own style. I enjoy art history, general history, philosophy, photography(go check my instagram !) and so on. I like many things, and none of these interests make me a very different person, especially because I don't go deep into my hobbies and passions (if I have any). Politically, I'm a classical liberal, so just don't tread on me please. Well, that's it. :P

Sophie Scholl
A German student who resisted Nazi ideology during the Second World War, she was deeply humanist and Christian; she believed in intellectual freedom and universal human rights. During her intense Gestapo interrogations, she countered the Nazi reliance on absolute obedience to state laws by elevating the supremacy of individual conscience:
* The law changes; conscience does not.
* How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone willing to give themselves up individually to a righteous cause? ... It is such a splendid sunny day, and I have to go. But how many have to die on the battlefield in these days, how many young, promising lives? What does my death matter if, by our acts, thousands are warned and alerted? Among the student body, there will certainly be a revolt.
Her final words are believed to be:
"Die Sonne scheint noch" (The sun still shines) or "God, my refuge unto eternity."
