SceneGod is a band that experiments with Deathcore, Metalcore, Sludge Metal, and Post-Hardcore with different sounds, which tries to represent social themes and reflect the nostalgia of the 2000s using the emo and scene aesthetics of the MySpace era

the kind of horror we'd score if anyone let us — saw, hostel, the devil's rejects, house of 1000 corpses, the texas chainsaw massacre, jennifer's body. requiem for a dream and donnie darko when the set needs to get heavy in a different way. if there's blood and the timing's right for a breakdown, that's our scene.

we grew up on metalocalypse, invader zim, aqua teen hunger force, the venture bros, old headbangers ball and jackass. half our merch ideas come from [adult swim] at 2am after practice.

johnny the homicidal maniac and lenore (jhonen vasquez is basically a band member), edgar allan poe, lovecraft, stephen king. and the perks of being a wallflower — proof you can put real feelings under the chugs.

the bands that built scenegod: suicide silence (mitch lucker, never forgotten ♱), bring me the horizon (count your blessings era), impending doom, carnifex, as blood runs black. mastodon and acid bath when we wanna get weird, sludgy and dark. and the homies who taught us you can mosh AND mean it — attack attack!, a day to remember, stick to your guns, evergreen terrace. anyone who screams like they mean it, we owe you one.

doom and quake on repeat — that frantic, palette-melting speed is the energy we chase live (we'd run doom ii in the green/black "toxic" colors if we could). half-life and the counter-strike hours we'll never get back, halo: combat evolved lan parties till sunrise, unreal tournament, duke nukem 3d, wolfenstein 3d, diablo, system shock — the retro pc cult stuff that raised us. plus guitar hero & rock band on expert (our second practice), silent hill and resident evil for the horror, tony hawk's underground, ddr at the mall. and pokémon — yes, even on tour. fight us
