I'm a pretentious asshole and have an interest in all things fiction and nonfiction. Here you will see amateur philosophy, theory, mania, and literary/film analysis (maybe).Β
I plan to get my doctorate in the next five years.
I love analog notes, routine, and fine arts. I keep a commonplace book. I took art classes for seven years straight and now I want nothing to do with it for my actual career. I still do lots of art and writing. I have about a billion characters I'm constantly working on, so feel free to ask me about them because I hardly update my Toyhouse pages for them.
If you'd like to imagine me in your head, I'm a bit short. I wear faded cowboy boots and the bootcut jeans to match. A lot of muscle tees or button-up shirts, or scrubs if Iβm in the hospital. And I have three dogs.
Here's some extra stuff.
βΒ I'm busy most of the time but don't let that stop you from contacting me. I use Discord like my life depends on it and you are open to asking for my Discord if you'd like to have consistent contact (regardless of if we have already chatted or not).
β I may post paragraphs upon paragraphs in response to a bulletin or blog about a silly idea or one-off opinion just because exploring those things is super fun for me. I love taking things seriously. If it is not wanted then feel free to tell me.
βΒ And, please be clear with me. I love open communication. If you do not feel safe to bring up something then something is wrong.Β Sometimes I can't tell if Iβm talking too much or mansplaining. Tell me off if youβd like. Usually I can catch it. I'm purposefully not holding back in this pretentious blog stuff though.
