i'm eyeswideshut.

i make music because i don't really know what else i'd rather be doing. everything i release comes from whatever i've been feeling or stuck thinking about. i take a lot of inspiration from shoegaze and artists that aren't afraid to experiment, but i'm just trying to make something that feels honest. if even one person connects with it, that's enough for me.

the music i listen to is all over the place. some of my favourites are 2hollis, Rommulas, Nate Sib, Arctic Monkeys, and a lot of other artists across all music genres (except country..) i don't really care about sticking to one genre. if a song makes me feel something or does something different, that's the kind of music i end up loving.

when i'm not making music, i'm usually watching films (or doomscrolling) i'm a massive cinephile and i love picking apart the little details, symbolism, and things that most people miss on a first watch. my favourite film is Saltburn (don't FUCKING judge if you don't understand the point of the movie PLZ), and my favourite film series are The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner. my favourite show is 13 Reasons Why. i mostly gravitate towards psychological and drama films. Some of my favourites are The Butterfly Effect, Mysterious Skin, Bones and All, Shutter Island, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Prisoners, and loads more!!!

i've always been really into books, especially ones that stick with you after you've finished them. my favourite book series is obviously The Hunger Games!!!!!!!!! i own all of the standard editions as well as the collector's editions. outside of that, i enjoy books like Mysterious Skin, Call Me by Your Name, and other stories that are emotional.

music has always been my biggest hero, but if i had to name one person, it'd be 2hollis. i don't think i'll ever be able to explain how much his music has meant to me. he completely changed the way i think about making music and gave me the confidence to actually believe i could do it myself. going to the star tour was one of those moments i'll never forget, it reminded me why i fell in love with music in the first place. without even knowing it, he's had one of the biggest impacts on my life, and that's a debt i'll never be able to repay. if i can make even one person feel the way his music made me feel, then i'll know i've done something right.

i've always preferred story-driven games over anything else. i love games that make you care about the characters. Life is Strange is easily one of my favourites, i'm always drawn to games with strong stories and characters that actually feel real. for me, a good story will always matter more than gameplay alone.
