music is probably the thing i’m most attached to. i love songs that become memories, lyrics that feel a little too personal and artists who somehow put feelings into words when i can’t.

olivia rodrigo is important to me because of how painfully honest her songs can feel dramatic, messy, young and emotional in a way that i really relate to. the smiths have that kind of sadness that somehow feels comforting, like being understood without having to explain yourself. cameron winter feels more intimate and raw, the kind of music i listen to when i want to sit with my thoughts for a while. and lana del rey… lana is just lana. she made me fall in love with romanticizing sadness, old movies, beautiful places and the feeling of turning your own life into a story.

i’ve always loved movies that leave me feeling something long after they’re over. i love stories that are beautiful, a little heartbreaking, romantic, nostalgic or just completely transport me somewhere else.

beautiful boy has a special place in my heart because of how raw and human it feels. dead poets society is the kind of movie that makes me want to live more intensely and appreciate the people who change the way i see the world. twilight is pure comfort and nostalgia — i could watch it a million times. elvira madigan feels like a beautiful, tragic dream, and matilda has that same kind of nostalgic, almost painful beauty. la la land is probably everything i love about cinema in one movie: music, romance, dreams, colors, longing and that bittersweet feeling of what could have been. ♡

 love books that make me feel like i’m living inside someone else’s world for a while. stories about love, growing up, friendship, loneliness, wanting more from life and trying to figure out who you are.

the hunger games will always have a special place in my heart — i love the world, the characters and especially the way it explores love, survival and what people are willing to sacrifice. everything i know about love feels incredibly personal to me; it reminds me of how much of our understanding of love actually comes from our friendships and the people who stay. água viva is completely different, but that’s exactly why i love it — it feels less like reading a story and more like getting inside someone’s thoughts. and daisy jones & the six has everything i love: music, complicated relationships, messy people and that feeling of being completely obsessed with a story. ♡
