I enjoy building and assembling tanks such as aquariums, vivariums, terrariums, paludariums, etc. But I also assemble things such as model trains or other types of model equipment.

Hermit crabs are currently my biggest specialty and my favorite animal to keep as a hobby (I have 3!). I do the best I can in rehabilitating hermit crabs from horrible conditions or at the very least allow them a place to die peacefully and loved. So far, I’ve rehabilitated one hermit crab from PetCo and two from a street seller in New Hampshire, United States.

Did you know that hermit crabs are one of the most abused animals in the pet trade industry?

I enjoy keeping fish and other "odd" animals. The goal is to get a royal python, more hermit crabs, a snail, and poison dart frogs. I also need to start breeding isopod and springtail colonies, and may even start an ant farm.

I study extensively in my free time. From genetics and anatomy—whether it be humans or animals, to the internal structure of a train.

Radiohead is my #1

I listen to just about everything but I tend to find myself listening to gothic or gangster rap in my day-to-day life.

Depressing songs are more common though—whatever genre Flatsound or Coldplay, etc., fall into; narrative songs as well.

I don’t watch television all that much due to my sensory issues and I prefer reading, but I do like to watch anime about every year or maybe every couple of months.

My primary "television" resides in YouTube where I watch YouTubers such as Joe Bartolozzi or documentaries or educational videos.

Black-and-white films are better due to their low stimulation but I still wouldn’t consider that often.

I’m currently reading a book about zoonosis.

I prefer nonfiction or narrative nonfiction.

I write my own books!
