my hobbies include: writing (my own books/poems/shit), reading, drawing, making zines, acting, singing, playing the guitar, playing badminton and researching random things on the web  
my fav subject is biology and i'm also casually into philosophy, psychology and gender studies!

i also like talking about the general (shitty) situation of the planet, so like: the political climate, bigots, climate change, etc. i'm usually open to debates! just yk come for an actual debate, not some jubilee shit 

fav genre: alternative and any sub genre within that (alt rock and alt indie are some of my favs)

a few bands i love: been stellar, floro (florence road), the north, swim school. LOVE balu brigada and devvy dub as well
other bands that i listen a bunch to are: overpass, bottle rockets, modern alibi, rec hall, weezer and radiohead

i would love to get some music recommendations tho, bc i'm always looking for new artists to listen to

not a big movie watcher, but I've watched 'dating amber' and 'but i'm a cheerleader' recently and they're peakkk

i'm more of a reader, but i must mention: my beautiful man, young royals? PEAK. 

doctor who is also an all time fav, stargate as well, but it isn't as popular. warehouse 13 is also a vibe and i must admit that i'm obsessed with claudia- i also really saw something between her and leena, so sad they made her straight instead 

i'd love to get into anime, but i don't know where to watch anything or what to watch? i'd love to watch the summer hikaru died thoo

reading is one of my hobby's, so i read a lot (less than i'd like to tho), but most of them are in my language so yeah- here's some of my fav eng books tho!

- the inexplicable logic of my life - benjamin alire sáenz (and his other two books about aristotle and dante are peakkk as well, i rlly like his dialogue-focused writing style and the complexity of the characters he writes)

- when the world tips over - jandy nelson (cassidy is my fav character, her complex relationship with her mom was especially an interesting part. i also just love the descriptions in this book. even though it's incredibly long (500-600 pages), most of the pages were well used and i even enjoyed the 'filler' pages)

- after we burned - marieke nijkamp (i really liked this book. the characters were all well-written. theo was my favorite character btw. her book ''at the end of everything'' is also reallyy good)

- the survivor wants to die at the end - adam silvera (have cried reading this book multiple times, i've read the other books from the series and i must say that this one was a whole lot darker than the other two. i think his portrayal of bpd and sh is quite interesting and paz was a well-written character in general. the ciffhanger was NOT something i saw coming lol)

- unwind - neal shusterman (loved the complexity of the unwinding process and how interesting the setting was. characters were incredibly well written and for once i actually thought the main straight couple were cute together lol)

- unleashed - amy mcculloch (it was a fun book, kid me would have liked it lol, i read the second part as well and it was honestly a good series, def a rec for a more light-hearted sci-fi)

honourable mentions:

- The wave - morton rhue (liked the message it brought across and it was a good book over all)

- radio silence - alice oseman (ik some people don't like her writing much, but this book was honestly good so i can't complain)

- ned's circus of marvels - justin fisher (loved this series as a kid lol)

my family probably, god knows how much they've sacrificed for me.

all the queer activists who fought for queer rights, such as Marsha P. Johnson and Lee Greer Brewster. they are the reason i can continue living true to myself.
all the women who fought in the first and second wave of feminism. thanks to the Suffragettes and women like Betty Friedan, so many women now have the right to vote and are treated (somewhat) fairly. 
human rights activists and any civil rights activists.
people who work in emergency services, like doctors, (wildland) firefighters and search- and rescue forces. I would have liked to include the police, but they're stuck working in a broken system that does not help protect the people as a whole. (i'm looking at you usa)
