Metal sonic au animatic WIP

Just a crappy wip I don't think I'll finish. I got tired as soon as i realized I would have to animate his cloak XwX. I don't have good experience animating, so it's more animatic than anything lolol,

This is an au that is kinda still stuck in my head, so I was trying to put some concepts down, but it ended up mainly just being metal having an identity crisis that explaining what stuff was. So the gist is, metal comes from another timeline where eggman won, and the timeline was based on the old tv shows from the 90's. So sonic gets roboticised and turned into metal. eventually by some chance, the eggman of the other timeline finds a time stone, but accidentally sends it and metal to the new timeline without him (This new timeline is based more on the games). The eggman in this timeline finds him, and kicks off Sonic CD. He proclaims to have made the robot, but he doesn't actually know where he came from.

I'll post more of the lore n shi with more progress wips of this.

What I wanted to put in the animatic was how he came to realize he did not belong in this timeline, and how he snapped initially. I'm not very good at storywriting, but I made the au mainly for myself, sorry if its's goofy, it just makes me happy to draw this guy :3
