for your own mustache, do whatever you want shape-wise, go ahead and draw the generic mustache backwards/upside down. i just like mine to look a little anorexic. it is a little difficult to do because the stache will be on your dominant hand (oo la la) and you'll have to draw it with your dingus other hand.
