Random Gameplay: Sonic and the Secret Rings (Project Reignited) - Final Chapter and Ending

So, Erazor, you show your true form!
I remember this boss fight really freaking me out as a kid, with probably one of the most grotesque things I'd ever seen in a game up to that point with Erazor morphing into a giant blob thing and barfing stuff up. Nowadays, though, I think I've seen the cutscene so much that I have it memorized.
I also don't know where else to mention this, but I never really picked up the abusive relationship subtext between Erazor and Shahra until like a year or two ago when a friend pointed it out to me.
If you look closely, you may notice that I had to edit out a good 5 minutes or so of me totally sucking at the game.
There were a lot of (imo, kind of clumsy) decisions made to this fight specifically. They mapped the Wiimote's motion controls to mashing X, I could swear this version of the fight is even more physically demanding than it was on the Wii because of that. On top of that, they also cut your Soul Gauge in half here for some reason (It was maxed out here in the Wii version), but it takes even more effort to charge up, and you very noticeably stop moving when you begin to charge your gauge; that last thing was also in the Wii version, admittedly, but now there's also a really huge delay when you stop charging (You regained movement immediately out of charging in the Wii version I think), which means if you stop charging right when Erazor starts attacking, you're a sitting duck for a bit too long, leading to an arguably unfair punishment. They also made it to where you can't Speed Break past Erazor's attacks anymore.
...All that aside, this was an insanely cool thing to play through. I don't know if this'll quite replace the original Wii version for me, but I would recommend anyone interested to just play this. It's also free. There's a fanmade third Sonic Storybook game in the works called Sonic and the Dragon's Path, and this gave me so much more hope for that.
