05/07/2026 - a lazy sunday

hellooo everyone!

today has been okay for a sunday — i am not a fan of sundays and therefore usually am not left in a good mood. today was nice though, i done a little bit more of the embroidery kit my best friend got for me. getting a singular thread out is incredibly annoying though... anyway, whilst i done some of the embroidery, i also watched some bookish/physical media vlogs which was nice! i like having something on in the background when doing something crafty. i also finished two sections in the book i am currently reading! a dark read, but i found it to be interesting. and sad. i am reading Behind the Horror: True Stories that Inspired Horror Movies by Dr Lee Mellor. i enjoy reading horror but not watching it, but reading this makes me want to check out some of the movies mentioned! maybe not all of them — a couple sound a bit full on despite the age. i also done some light baking with my mother! i made a marble cake from the box mix (shhhhh...), we have all recently gotten a taste for that. she also made a date loaf and rock cakes!

i downloaded two more Muse albums and received a letter from my online penpal! excited to respond to her soon :] also locked in on a car that we will be checking out tomorrow so fingers crossed!🤞 it has no cd player which is literally the only downfall, but the car itself is actually really nice and is NOT a hideous white colour, so yay!
