i am torn between living in my car and driving back to florida -which i left for good reason (i miss florida, but not where i was, which is where i’d have to return to). it would feel like leaving and this entire past year was for nothing. taking ten steps back to move forward zero… 

that explains why i was adamant to get my “suggested maintenance” for my car (having reached 15k miles), and i needed an oil change anyway. 

after a whopping $468.52 (because my chevy app decided to randomly log me out, making it difficult to redeem the $6 in rewards i was told i had by the employee), my car is drivable. good thing.

that same employee had casings sitting on his desk, which i first noticed, and enjoyed. when giving my keys back, he complimented my keychain. fine fella. had to be like 30. irrelevant. 

i also noticed the magazine collection was subpar. it was certainly picked out by a man. where’s southern living and better homes & gardens? am i a joke to you? i looked behind them all and there were about twenty guns & ammo and hunting magazines… i would have gotten a wine one but i don’t drink and i think most alcohol is disgusting. they’re missing out on a customer demographic with this selection… 

“travel + leisure” didn’t look too interesting either. maybe i need some picture books to make me feel better. i always liked The Cat in the Hat…

now i need to pack my stuff up and make some choices. certainly some that are different from last year. i didnt sleep for a couple days then tried (did) to drive from tampa to dallas without a major stop or sleeping. i also tried to put all my stuff in my car the same night -which didn’t help with the soreness from sitting for hours. if i go back to florida, i could see roswell again, and maybe get kidnapped on the way. plenty of reasons not to go though.
