09/04/26 Making Friends & Autumn Approaching

I recently started at a new high school as a junior. It's a really small alternative school with a cirriculum mostly made for neurodivergent kids. B4 starting school here, I thought I would have an easy time making friends because of the amount of people similar to me who went there. But it's been two weeks now, and I've been clinging to the one friend I knew beforehand the whole time. I love him to death, but I really wish I could expand my social circle. That's pretty much the entire reason I decided not to drop out, after all. I don't know what I'm going to do when my friend graduates (he's a grade above me). IDK, it just feels like I'm missing out on some kind of important highschool experience. On social media, on TV, pretty much everywhere, everyone has a group of friends. Like, close friends. I like the people I'm around, for the most part, but I seriously feel like I'm missing out. I've gotten so desperate to the point where I'm trying to befriend my ex boyfriend. ( ˘︹˘ ) Even in middle school, I remember forming a group of friends on my first day. I don't even know how it happend, but we stuck together the whole year. Why can't I have that again? Is it something about me now? I wish I knew how to navigate highschool right.

On a happier note, I'm so insanely excited for fall. It's seriously the best season, argue with the wall. The crisp air is perfect for skateboarding and the colorful leaves feel so nostialgic. Fall 2022 was probably the most important time of my life. I was sad pretty often, but I had a steady group of friends and went skateboarding almost every evening. Something about skateboarding among the fallen leaves under the street lights was so special to me. I hope I can emmulate that feeling again this fall. And OBVOULSY, I love the season because its ssssoooo bullets (my FAV mcr album). (☆▽☆)
