...yes, I was indeed very busy yesterday and completely forgot about blogging until this morning. Typography is fun yet sometimes very demoralizing. I can't really think of creative ideas on demand. Inspiration needs to hit me before I make anything. Plus whenever I have an idea, that tends to be the finished product. I don't spitball like 15 variations on that idea, which appears to be considered best practice in this field.

...and to make matters worse, another family member has fallen sick. I feel like I don't have to repost my concerns w/ being sick (for like the third time) but still. It just irks me. Plus said family member has been acting incredibly strange and is probably going to end up making a lot of other people sick as well. Just...very annoying, pisses me the hell off.

...listening now: "Long Tall Weekend" by They Might Be Giants. Kind of an oddball album within their catalogue - they'd just recently split with Elektra and had additionally released a live album, so naturally, their next move was an online-only album comprised of 3 new recordings and outtakes from John Henry and Factory Showroom. That doesn't really bother me though, Factory Showroom's my favorite TMBG album so more of it is always a good thing.
