WEEKDAY MASS
This morning my alarm woke me up early for weekday Mass at church and I did some natural makeup once I had gotten up. Keeping it simple, I got dressed in a sweater and jeans then walked to church.
Going to an English Mass after over a month of attending Latin Mass was quite refreshing and I found the service much easier to follow along with. My soul felt cleansed after having morning prayers to start a weekday.
Once Mass had concluded there were group rosary prayers held which I joined in with, it had been a while since my last time praying the rosary so I found a lot of peace in coming back to these prayers in the company of others.
After some final prayers for the day and taking home a few free prayer cards, I went back home. My pet cat immediately came up to me purring once I entered the door so I took the opportunity to play with him using his cat toys, after letting him cuddle up to me in my arms of course.
I finished my day off with evening Mass at church which was equally as healing but a much more short and sweet service. My final task for the day was to update my journal with today's events in writing and stick in one of the prayer cards that I acquired at the church.

I'm very much looking forward to Mass on Friday morning, and hopefully confession as well.
I hope Mass on Friday goes well !! Confession is so therapeutic, I want to go to it soon.
