18th Birthday!

My birthday was this week! I'm an adult now which is weird since I can put my actual birthday when creating accounts on sites now. But anyways, I had an amazing weekend!

I asked my dad to take me to a random mall, yeah? Well, when we showed up, turns out there was some otaku food fest going on? I'm not sure I didn't really look at the sign too long, but I thought nothing of it. 

My dad gave me a bunch of money and set me loose in the mall to do whatever, which I obviously took the time to buy myself a figure of my son Zenitsu... But after that and walking around exploring all the nerdy stores for my little nerdy heart, I spotted some booths!

I'm just looking around at all the merch, nothing caught my eye, whatever. As I'm walking away I spot a booth with Gachiakuta art on it so I stop dead in my tracks and I'm like "Oh, look, Gachi art!" to my dad....

My eyes look at the booth properly. Guess who I spotted running it. COREY. WILDER. Zanka's VOICE ACTOR. I have never walked away faster in sheer MORTIFICATION before. 

Of course I head back after thinking about it because, at first, I really didn't want to go talk to them since my nerves were FREAKING OUT, but like when am I ever gonna see them again at a random mall ON MY BIRTHDAY??? 

So. Yeah. Chatted with them and their assistant, WHO WAS SO SWEET I LOVE HER!! She complimented my nails and they both were just super friendly in general. I got laughed at once my dad blurted out "Is that what you keep quoting all the time?" when I asked for Corey to write "I ain't green enough" on the print I bought... CRYING. THEY CALLED ME NICHE. But other than that, IT WAS AWESOME!!! 

I now have a new goal to get the rest of Team Akuta's signatures... (totally not an excuse to cosplay and go to cons...) BUT WHAT A COINCIDENCE I HAPPENED TO RUN INTO COREY WILDER ON MY BIRTHDAY AT A RANDOM MALL!!! AHHH!!! IT WAS MY LUCKY DAY!

+ Bonus birthday Zenitsu's!!! I have a Mitsuri figure on the way too! I'm determined to get Mitsuri's look up figure so she can go next to my chud son and mog him brutally. #KillZenitsu #MitsuriForPresident
