I've always wondered why I've yearned for a time I wasn't born in, everything seemed much darker and fun back then like the aesthetic of rock vids and malls. I was born the last year of the 2000's and being a teen now sucks ass, everything now has to be about the newest most expensive product you can get your hands on or else your a loser. I just wanna be in a world where the emo and grunge aesthetic still rules the world and everyone can be goth, emo, scene, etc. Without being called a poser (though their are posers out there). I wanna transform the last years of being a teen into one from the 2000's. I'm am truely a case of I was born in the wrong time

It's totally normal to want something that you don't have. This has been a human thing since the beginning of times. XD
And look... being called a poser WAS SO COMMON in the 2000s up to early 2010s. It's nothing new. I think it would be worse back then since people seemed... more blunt, yk?
Also, grunge was mostly a thing from the 90s, but it's kinda making a come back with the recent alt rock scene around. Nowadays, there's been a genre,"nu-grunge", playing around in some more recent bands. Def check it out.
You're weren't born in the wrong time. Just do your thing. And nowadays, being in those subcultures makes you even more UNIQUE. :3
