3DS my beloved

I freaking want a 3DS sooooooooo bad! I’ve always wanted one bc I didn’t grow up having one but I played on my friends and to me it was (and still is) the coolest thing ever. Not to mention the library of incredible games. But alas I am fated to be at the mercy of the internets prices. Ever since Covid prices have shot up to almost triple its release year price, which means that is you want one in good condition that actually works you have to pay almost $400 for it. And I’ve been holding on to all money that I get from chores and anywhere else for so long I haven’t been able to buy any manga which is usually what I spend all my money on. Other than price the worst part is places running out of stock. I’ve found places that I trust irl and online but they run out of stock so fast. Also I’ve gotten scammed a few times trying to buy a 3DS so I’m really skeptical when looking at listings on eBay and other websites. I don’t want to give up because like I said up top I’ve always wanted a 3DS but idk what to do? Just not spend any money forever and hope that something comes up? SOMEONE HELP :(
