updates!!! i got my first camera, but the sd card that came with it malfunctioned or something as soon as i took a timed photo... so i guess that's banned? i'll go out tomorrow to buy a new one, but other than that i'm super happy with it!! 

i also finished carmilla, took me ages because i'm a slow reader but i loved it! the language was sort of hard to get through because of the time period but it got easier to read as i progressed, which made me feel kinda proud of myself :). it was super fast paced, which i'm not used to, but i kinda wanna read more books like it. i'm so used to 300-400 page books that i've never actually picked up a shorter one, it felt kinda refreshing. i'm gonna try to finish s2 of the x-files today as a little break, and then start beloved- my introduction to toni morrison,, i heard it's gut wrenching so i'm a little nervous but i'll take breaks when needed ^^.

museum day is almost here too! i'm going alone, since my bff got a job (yay!!!) and they have to work this weekend, i hope they don't burn out T_T... but i'm still pumped up! i haven't been to a museum in years, and even then it was for school trips, so it was super rushed and i couldn't properly take in what i was seeing :( but i can now go at my own pace!! yipee!!

hopefully i'll be able to upload the pics onto my laptop and post them here but i'm somehow the only non tech-savvy 19 year old on the planet so... praying nothing blows up...
