the hospital visit with my mum went well! she might have to get surgery, but it's minor with no risk so that's a relief. tomorrow may FINALLY be the day to go to the museum, i'll also make sure to go to my library to print out new posters for my room, since i've wanted to add to it for a while... the walls... so barren... and another scroll through fb marketplace for anything i'll need! 

i also got a little further into Beloved and ohh my god. i'm so glad i started with this when getting into toni morrison's collection because wow! i love the pacing, not super quick as i wanted a change of pace from carmilla, and very vivid! the writing style was a little hard to digest (if that's the right word?) but i've been trying to pick up books that challenge me a little, and besides, after i finish this and the yellow wallpaper i'll start the last book in the agggtm series - As Good As Dead - so an easier read to relax my brain a little!

i'm also gonna try to compliment at least three people tomorrow, and take a ton of pics for the blog!! still have to figure out how to transfer pics from camera to laptop... woof...
