6 - achilles and the bass guitar

welcome to my 6th diary entry!

i'm going back to the city where i study and most of my friends live today!
which also means... i'm finally going to be able to play my bass guitar :D
which i bought on like july 21, but for a very messy series of reasons haven't been able to play at all. 

it all started very randomly i guess. at some point i voiced to a friend that i wanted to learn how to play the bass. which is a thing that i guess i developed by listening to "hold me like a grudge" an infinite amount of times.
then said friend told me his brother had a bass at their house and i could definitely try it out.
so i tried it out and it was GREAT!
i then decided i would get my own bass after dealing with one of my worst fears: going to my Contemporary History exam. like not even passing it, just going and doing the exam, no matter the result (yup i have a problem with going to exams bc of very annoying levels of anxiety please don't judge :'D).

thankfully i also passed it, and with a very nice grade (i think the concept that i would get the bass after going kind of motivated me to study more than usual), so i bought the bass :D
i had to have it delivered at my friend's house for various reasons.

it was supposed to arrive two days later (july 23), which. insane.
but of course that could NEVER happen in italy right?
it just so happens that there was a strike on that day (just to be clear i 100% don't have it against the workers, i just find the coincidence funny lol).
then i think the day after was a saturday, so they only would take care of like a bunch of packages in the morning and then nothing. 
then on sunday they wouldn't be delivering (rightfully so). and so we thought it would get on the 27th or the 28th, so i went back to the city for those specific days. of COURSE it didn't get there on the 27th nor on the 28th :'D
i had to go back to my hometown for various reasons the next morning. 

and then august happened. we don't talk about august. it was just a very insane month for me and ofc i haven't been able to go back to the city at all during it even though i kept being convinced i would be able to at some point.

it's so crazy that EVERYTHING happened after i got the bass.
but anyway now after more than a month of pining i will finally get to play it!!! i will maybe talk about it in the next entry or a bulletin, stay tuned lol
