7/10/26 being trans at the family function is not for the weak

im in texas rn, about 13 hours away from home for my cousin's wedding. i was NAWT built for this heat omg when we showed up it was about 103 farenheit and i was wearing black jeans which was nottt a good idea but in my defense i didnt know it would be THAT hot. texas and family functions were invented to torture me specifically lolzzz. and dont get me wrong, i love my cousins and aunts and uncles but they're all., yknow. from texas and very traditional. i swear i couldnt count on my hands and feet the amount of times i was deadnamed and misgendered. its difficult but i just gotta tuff it out for the next few days

but other than that ive been having quite the time, we're staying at a fancy hotel in the inner city of dallas (i think its dallas?). the drive here wasnt that bad, i kept myself entertained with music and such. we did an escape room today and solved it in aboutttt,, 48 minutes i think?? it was my first time doing an escape room and it was so freaking awesome sauce it felt like being in a saw trap or something (omg i would kill to go to that one saw themed escape room). i also had a crazy good mango flavored shake n sum new york style pizza. my legs hurt like hellll from walking so much but i did a lot of stretching earlier so hopefully that will cure a little bit of the pain :P
