7/30/26 finally started our d&d campaign

my best friend invited me and four other people to join his d&d campaign about three months ago. we didnt take too long to create our characters and worldbuilding but we've been SO BUSY this summer that we didnt have a free day for a session zero until today. it was SO MUCH FUN ohmygosh, i really enjoyed playing the most annoying character possible. he's a water genasi, 21 years old, and about 6'6. being someone who likes to use pieces of myself to create characters, of course i made him emo. since he's a water genasi and the campaign takes place underwater, i came up with ocean puns for classic emo-adjacent bands (oceanic! at the disco, fall out bouy, pierce the sail, my coral romance, jimmy drink ocean, yellowtailcard, death kelp for cutie, and of course the one i didnt have to change - sleeping with sirens). i also seemed to have already created a toxic yaoi type relationship with another pc LOLZ. im super excited for the rest of the campaign. the people in our party are so freakin awesome sauce.

of course theres other stuff thats happened since ive last written; i got back from my grandparents house, three of my friends had a birthday, and ive been skateboarding. i got one of my friends a pokemon plushie for his birthday and the other a calico critters keychain. unfortunately i havent seen the third friend yet because she currently lives in a different state :(. i think my skateboarding has been really progressing, it took me about four hours but i can finally do a feeble stall on vert (*^_^*) also totally landing pop shuvits way more.

overall ive been doing well but i cant wait for the summer heat to end, lol
