8/5/26 an incredible night

this happened a few nights ago, but i haven't written in a while. my best friends, that i met when we were about 2 yrs old, live in a different state than me right now. but they're in town to visit, so in the evening they messaged me asking if i wanted to go downtown with them. they picked me up from my house when my parents weren't home. its usually a bit awkward when i see them for the first time in a while, but this time we were talking and laughing immediately when i got in the car. we drove into town but since it was past 6 PM on a sunday, most of the shops were closed. we found a bookstore that was still open and i got a new manga and we all got matching keychains. then we got ice cream. it got dark so we headed back to my house and hung out on my trampoline. we got stoned and started laughing so hard i couldn't breathe (‾◡◝) when it got late we hung out in the garage and watched family guy clips. they had to head back to where they're staying because of curfew by around midnight. im not gonna lie it was one of the best nights of my life, i love my friends so much :P
