It frustrates me when bands i listen to have misinformation spread about them by stupid rumor farmers , or when people who are supposedly knowledgeable about the band are actually missing parts and just spread miniformation instead.
The very same youtuber who made a video about a band i like left out a past band member (this seems very minor) but they claimed the lead singer was solo by himself doing it all! No credit to anyone who helped him! It may have been a mistake but the newbie fans need to know it all >:(
This is a bit silly , just a rant on how people need to do a teeny bit more of research. (it's surface level stuff , HOW DO THEY NOT KNOW THIS IF THEY HAVE BEEN A FAN FOR YEARS?)

I get what you mean!!! It might seem like a small detail, but those "small" details end up becoming the version of the band's history that new fans learn
It always makes me a little sad when people who contributed to a band's sound get forgotten just because they weren't the frontperson. Every member leaves something behind, and they deserve to be acknowledged
I don't mind people making mistakes, but if you're making a whole video about a band, it's worth taking a little extra time to fact-check. There are so many great stories and contributions that get lost otherwise

YES! THIS! Hateful people also make up rumors about the band (usually on TikTok or something) AND THEN EVERYONE BELIEVES IT BLINDLY WITHOUT AN OUNCE OF PROOF! It’s bizarre how quickly misinformation is spread.
