.☘︎ A Day I Must Remember݁˖༘⋆

I’m detailing the events of today because when things get tough, I need to remember there are things worth suffering for.
It all started with your average compulsion. At that moment I had the impulse to shop. My mom had mentioned towards the end of the month we would go shopping for pants due to my considerable lack of them in my closet. I had 20$ and nothing to do, a recipe for an impulsive outing.
And so I ventured out to the outside with all the essentials:
My makeup: mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow palette, brushes, lipgloss
Perfume
Digital Camera
Gachiakuta Vol.1
Wallet
Cunty outfit
It was hot out but I trudged forward. On the way I waved to the toddlers playing outside and said hi to a little girl walking on the sidewalk. The plan was simply to go buy some much needed earrings and accessories from a nearby thrift store. In and out. I planned on spending most of my money there because the last time I had been there I was browsing through the earrings for sale and two pairs caught my eye. When I called out to the ladies and asked for the price, the one with the orange bob mouthed to me: “I’m giving it to you”. I was so so touched and felt so special!!! I knew I had to return the favor and buy a bunch of things.
I ended up buying miscellaneous things such as a hibiscus patterned scarf, a bronze/golden pendant necklace, a royal blue tie and a honey yellow bracelet. The total amounted to only 10$ which I found quite reasonable. At the counter I made amicable small talk with the woman and as I walked out I could hear them complimenting my rolling stones t-shirt. Goddam it when I tell you guys…in my experience old people can be really hit or miss but oh when they hit they hit. Love those oldies to death. I found I still had 10$ waiting to be spent…How about Dollorama? You can never have too many arts n crafts supplies…Next stop, Do-llo-ra-ma!!
I’m browsing the beauty section hoping to snatch a lip liner for a good deal. Total failure. The Paul Frank themed lip balms were enticing, but I’d just be buying because it’s Paul Frank and if that’s the case, I’d rather just buy a plushie or something. Waste of money. Boom, at the corner of my eye I see it : a seemingly good enough quality not sketchy eyelash curler, something I had told myself I needed to buy given I don’t have eyelash extensions. I checked the price, a glorious 2,50$, perfect. I plopped it in my metaphorical shopping cart. Next up was the crafts aisle.
I had nothing in particular in mind, safe perhaps uuhhh some string or whateva, but the string available was cheap, you could see it through the packaging. Slightly disappointed the universe wasn’t giving me anything to splurge on, I tell myself there’s always tomorrow. I take note of the two girls nearby with their cool makeup and outfits. I admired from afar. I then see on the ground an abandoned chikawa plush. I put two and two together and walked up to the girls and asked whether or not it belonged to them. It very much did and they enthusiastically thanked me. Second boom, I looked up and saw fabric scissors on display, ones I’ve been waiting to restock. Fuck yeah. I silently rejoiced like a grandma reloading on itchy yarn. Happy with my purchases, I made my way to the counter. The cashier tells me it's $10,28$. Shit. I only have 10, I’m 18 cents short…
This angel from above standing behind the counter tells me not to worry about it, letting me go my merry way. I thank her profusely and wish her a nice rest of her day. I mentally skip out of the establishment. Mission accomplished. Time to go home.
I walked in the blinding sun. Dr. Pepper in one hand, my findings in the other. A smile etched on my sweaty face. I wiped my forehead again and again, my makeup looked too good to sweat off. I felt relief at the sight of the park, it meant I had only about a kilometer left of walking. I make my way through said park and from a distance see a guy my age. He was tall and lanky with dreads—my god was he good-looking. To say the least. He was hands down my type. We near closer to each other and make eye contact. I thought it would end there and hell if I wouldn’t have been grateful for just that. When suddenly his words took me by surprise: “Yo, your outfit is fire!!”, raising his arms as if impressed. My smile immediately turned toothy and I threw the compliment back. We parted ways and for the rest of the walk back home I giggled like a maniac. I prayed and continue to pray that I’ll see him again. Who knows I might see him at schooL—HAHHHAHAHAHAHI3FHXNI3BYONFH34LZF3G
…Anyways.
That was my day!! Thanks so much for reading :)).
SEE YOU GUYS SOON!!
Best Regards,
Frederick :))))))))))))
