a great day

i'm just having such a nice day so i want to share

i decided to start reading books at work because it's too boring to use my phone all day at this point

i have a bit of troubles with reading though so it's kinda hard to read from the screen so i haven't read stuff in a while

basically i can only read stuff when it's divided into smaller blocks (like how i write!) and reading large blocks of text without physically obscuring parts of it is hard af

so i did some cleaning last weekend and found some books that my bf bought a while back and decided to try reading them

it's a lot easier when i have stuff on paper bc i can just use a piece of paper to cover parts of text

the first one i brought with me is solaris by stanislaw lem 

thought that i'll finish it in my 4 shifts but it only took 2 and it would've been one if i had less work to do... 

it's so good! i really liked it and i keep thinking about it still 

i had some books at home but i thought that buying them used is supposed to be cheap especially if it's older ones and i'm not really interested in new stuff anyway

so we went to a store nearby and i just had such a good time there

it's a really small place with LOTS of books. we spent almost an hour there and i think i only looked at the third of the stuff. man who worked there was really nice too we had a small conversation about books and various museums and stuff haha

i bought dune because i wanted to read it for a while now and a collection of stuff written by nikolay leskov since i remember liking his stuff when we read it at school 

then we walked to the other store where i bought three more books. overall we got 9 books for ~23$ and i think it's pretty nice

then we had a burger and walked home and I LOVE WALKING SO MUCH!!!

also new wifi chip for my thinkpad is here so i'm about to have fun with that now and then i'm going to play some terraria so it's a really nice day for me XD
