A poem I wrote hehe

I write a lot of poems and I wrote this one as a bit of a joke... cuz why not? I really love bread so in a sleep deprived and hysterical manner I came up with this... Anyways here's my really bad love poem to bread lol.

Our forbidden love,

What a haunting shame.

My dear your eyes:

They shine the faintest of hazel.

I could gaze into them,

Losing myself in the comforting colour.

I see you in the morning,

As the sun begins to rise.

Rays outlining each delicate feature;

Soft skin,

Gentle gaze,

The most beautiful smile.

You remind me of the first breath of dawn:

The breeze refreshing 

You remind me of a walk through the forest:

A sweet aroma

You remind me of an assortment of flowers:

No matter the appearance they brighten the room.

Our forbidden love,

What a haunting shame.

If only I could keep you to myself

Relaxing in your warm embrace.

If only you were truly a human,

And not the household ingredient I hold so close.

My beloved bread,

In any form you are the best.

Whether simple or complex,

Not one man could resist.

Anyways... hope you enjoyed this lol. I tried to personify the bread. Also I did write it the way I did on purpose cuz I felt that this kind of subtly exaggerated language would accentuate the joky tone I was aiming for.... Apologies I'm kinda nerding out a bit here...
