A Sudden Pull (Poem)

A sudden spark, a sudden pull,

A room of noise that faded through.

The world was grey until it turned

Completely inside out for you.

That pretty face, the gentle smile

That catches every ounce of light.

A body carved in flawless grace,

That keeps me wide awake at night.

We moved so fast, no second thought,

Like lines already drawn by fate.

Too many signs to call it luck,

Too strange to simply calculate.

The coincidences stack too high,

The puzzle pieces fall in place.

You look at me and stop the clock,

Erasing every inch of space.

I swear you cast a quiet spell,

Some witchcraft laced with sweet design.

Because I never stood a chance

The second that your eyes met mine.
