Am I bad person for this?

Okay so I was friends and just friends with this guy and I did like him but he had a gf and I wanted to respect that and her especially because she was friends with one of my friends and was really nice so after some time of us being friends my crush on him started to grow to the point where I told him but we just stayed platonic friends but after a while we started taking even more than before and got super close in a short span of time and recently he called me and told me that he had liked me for like months now/ranting about how his gf wouldn’t give me attention like she would only talk to other guys and not talk to him at not (including texting and calling bc her parents didn’t like him) and so then a few days later he breaks up with his gf to get with me but I never asked him to I simply said it wasn’t my business and up to him but I still feel kinda bad.
