Am I the asshole?

Today me and my friend where playing a game, halfway our teacher put us against these two random boys. I kinda didn't wanna play with them because i'm not that good. My other friend noticed this and asked me if I wanted to play with her instead, of course I said yes. I did this without really realizing I left my friend with these two boys.

Later on some random girl joined her before i could come back, afterwards I said I was sorry and that I didn't mean to leave. This is where I was kinda weirded out. Because she said 'I was glad you left'...???

She then told me she had a crush on one of the boys, mind you I have pointed this boy out before saying he was cute, around a month ago. I asked her why she was glad, she said 'I was scared he might like you instead'...Is it just me or is this really selfish??.. I don't like this boy anymore, I was way more bothered she said she was happy I left, just for boy?

At first I ignored this and made a plan with her, on Monday we would play with them. She agreed but almost seemed annoyed that I was coming. This is not the first time she had liked a boy I liked in the past, idk its really annoying me. I still find this boy cute, but I can't tell her that without some type of conflict. I'm really not one to fight over a boy, so it is NOT about that.

Please tell me if im the wrong or what i should do.
