I’m talking abt like 4-12.
This has been floating around my head for the last few days, mainly because my brother recently got his ears pierced. Like a few months ago, and it’s got me thinking about a few things.
In my country, (Ireland) girls usually get their ears pierced for their communion, which you have when you’re around 8. But I never did that, obviously. I didn’t really get the appeal of poking a hole through my ear.
I prolly would have done it for my conformation but I skipped it for private reasons.
I feel like I missed out on something.
I hear stories of girls getting their ears pierced with their friends or family.
I missed out on that.
But then again I do have this lovely memory, of talking to an older woman who didn’t get her ear pierced, when I was upset about not getting it done.
I might keep them un pierced just to cherish that.
I’m thinking about this too much !
But still- it’s funny to think my brother got his ears pierced before me.

according to my mom, i got my ears pierced as a fucking baby. maybe when i was like 4 months old?!?!? i dont believe her tho but i did get my ears pierced as a kiddo

Im so jealous of the peeps who got their ears pierced as a kid.. I got my FIRSTS done recently in a forest with my drunk friends, surprisingly they aren't infected!

Hey, I have some jewelry earrings, but in the end, my ears are not pierced. As I remember, this is due to the fact that I have poor eyesight and it is advisable not to touch ears.
Like, I think it’s not so, it’s bad, it doesn’t bother me and in many ways my ears are covered by hair.
