...well, the polls re: Alberta separatism have opened at last. I'm probably not going to vote until the 19th, however. I already don't trust anyone within a 500 kilometer radius, on account of living in a small, incredibly far-right town where everyone believes Trump is the second coming (despite living in Canada), so I really don't trust the people looking after the ballot box. Good chance that most of them are separatists willing to just discard any vote that goes against them, but don't quote me on that...
...following up on the last blog post: the snow is beginning to melt. RIP the snow, we hardly knew ye...for now, at least. It'll come back with a vengeance soon enough.
...also, re: me being really busy: the worst of it might be over. Hopefully. We'll see. Spent like nine hours yesterday doing nothing but graphic design. It was fucking ridiculous. But I suppose that's just my life now. With the current state of affairs, though, I'll be lucky if I somehow manage to get a job after I graduate.
...now listening: "Spaceship Earth" by Whitewoods. Perhaps the most unsung pop album of the 2010s? Everyone and their mother knows "Beach Walk" but that's only a small taste of the hypnagogic pop genius that fills this record. "Beat Street" is utterly hypnotizing; it feels like a mirage in an endless desert, and "Be Home Free" just does something to you, man. I dunno how to put it, but it really, really tugs on your heartstrings.
