They call me the angry child, The one who's always raising her voice. The one who never listens,The one who always has a choice. They say I'm difficult to handle,That I make everything a fight. But nobody asks what's going on inside When I go quiet every night.I'm the bad kid, apparently. The one who drives her parents insane. The one who's always causing trouble,The one who's supposedly full of pain. But have you ever wondered What it's like to be me? To have a thousand things to say But feel like nobody wants to see? I'm not always angry. Sometimes I'm just overwhelmed. Sometimes I need someone to listen, Not another lecture to be held. I wish they'd see the difference Between disrespect and being hurt. Between not wanting to listen I wish they knew that sometimes My attitude is just a disguise, For a child who doesn't understand Why nobody sees the tears behind her eyes. I'm tired of being labeled Before I've even said a word. Tired of being called difficult When my side is never heard. I'm still a child. I'm still learning. I'm not a problem to be fixed. I'm not a monster, not a villain, Just a person with feelings that get dismissed. And maybe I'm not the angry child. Maybe I'm just the unheard one. The child everyone has something to say about,
But nobody ever asks what's wrong. , ⛓️💥
