i've noticed that one of the complaints about the oversaturation of these myspace ripoffs is that theres a lot of people (like me) who don't know how to code and use default c&p profiles and c&p decor. my thing is that if these websites were made exclusively for people who know how to code, it would be like neocities and there would be no c&p profiles. atp you can just say you think you deserve a cookie for knowing how to code...😭
it's ridiculous to suggest that in order to decorate a webpage with your interests and connect with other teens who like the same things as you, you have to learn how to code. just let us have our default pages and move on bru😔

I totally agree with you, as someone who used to be a Spacehey user in 2021, I was eleven at the time and had absolutely no experience with coding whatsoever.
Tbh, I still use c&p layouts to this day and just do a bunch of tweaking to customize it how I want. I also used to watch a bunch of tutorials on Youtube when I was a spacehey user lol
omg me too, spacehey made me start trying to learn how to code until i learned how difficult it was for me😭

omg real </33 It took me 2 years to figure out how to add music to my layout. I'm so glad that its way easier over here.

while I dont think people should be mad at non coders, its boring to see the same profiles over and over again
you dont even need to be a coder to have a more unique profile, theres plenty of free code and tutorials. and when it comes to decor there are thousands of websites for web graphics ( blinkies, stamps etc. ), I mention that because ive seen many profiles where the stamps were just copy and pasted from a top layout ( not really on here but spacehey )
not an issue if you like the stamps but I think its cooler and showcases your interests better to curate your own
also I thought one of if not the biggest draw to websites like these were that you had custom code and could make your profile look like whatever? so I dont really understand how people completely uninterested in code find these websites, unless just for nostalgia reasons
I feel like a lot of the time, people come on websites like these cuz they never got to experience myspace (ik i did), and also because it's an easier way to make friends if you like certain aesthetics. But i get what you mean concerning seeing the same profiles, i just saw one like mine like 40 mins ago lmao.
I've personally found that the biggest issue with trying to find good coding tutorials is that a lot of the OPs use certain language and refer to certain things as if the viewer knows what they're talking about, especially if said language requires prior coding experience to understand.

i don't know how to code either but the visual builder(i forget its name) is really useful, and you can download your own images to add to it,not hating on people for using pre made ones or anything but i notice that people think they have to know how to code to customise it,which is not necessarily true. <3
