I can't remember the last time I sat down and made art I think it's been over a year. I have no idea where to begin. I keep trying to doodle at least and I am just stuck as if I forgot how to draw. I spend too much time on the computer but that's my job and now whenever I try to do something else I feel weird. I started reading again recently so that's a good first step. I try to go out and touch grass but it's short lived until I am staring at a screen again. At this point I feel like I've just given into the digital realm. Now I just play Fortnite and work. I've been letting this go on for so long, at first it was just a day, then a couple of a months, and now it's been over a year. I keep getting this strange nostalgic experience whenever I'm on here that is bittersweet but seems to be helping in some way. I don't even know if any of this makes sense.

Omg I feel the same way.
I just can't make myself draw again. It's been months and whenever I try again there is no joy or no passion while doing it.
I don't know what is going on. But whenever I am very busy at school/work I suddenly feel motivated to doodle random stuff. But at home during my free time I can't make myself do it.
I sometimes wonder if it is the exhaustion that is stopping me or if only the thrill of doing something not related to work makes me draw.
Wait your onto something, maybe it's like the idea of doing it because when I actually finally make time to do it I just have a blank stare. When I was younger I just drew all the time and I didn't care what it was. Now I just think about all of the things I could do and then when I actually go to it seems so pointless. If I'm being honest it feels totally empty. The most I can do in years is draw a flower and call it a day which sounds so silly, I don't know why but it's always a flower.

Have you tried different media?
Maybe a new artistic hobby or something fresh. Maybe that could motivate you to do a hobby without feeling forced to draw.
I think one thing that is stopping me from drawing is my phone. My brain sees my phone and social media as an opportunity. I sometimes wonder if I lock away my phone I could be more motivated to do a hobby or draw.
