Month hasn't ended yet but I dont care because these are the last of my books that I have read this month.
This month I have read 5 books and have reviewed them on StoryGraph:

The Idiot ★★☆☆☆
An Idiot man (Prince Myshkin) visiting his distant relative and being an idiot while trying to charm those around him and trying to get laid with Nastasya Filippovna while being a love triangle which leads to his troubles with himself and those around him.
Basically everyone is a IDIOT.
The only reason why I gave this book two stars even if it is a Dosotevsky book who I enjoy reading from, he dragged it. The book just kept repeating itself until the end which i enjoyed (and also enjoyed the story Prince spoke about when he was in France.) second, very good writing and that's all I can think about.
The Yellow Wallpaper ★★★★☆
Honestly I relate to this book so much as someone who lived in a home where I was seen as a ill individual when all I needed was a bit of support instead of being told that I would be fine soon which led to physiological issues.
As most know, The Yellow Wallpaper is about a woman having (interpreted) postpartum psychosis that is diagnosed as 'Hysteria' by her physician husband. Through out the book, you notice her becoming detached from reality and obsessing with a yellow wallpaper in the room her husband has put her in. She experiences hallucinations, delusions, isolation and the lack of mental stimulation, making her mental health deplete.
I enjoyed how the author allowed me to see the slow depletion of the main characters mental health going down and how everyone was treating her when she needed them most. If you enjoy short books that dwell into this topic, then I recommend it!
So Late in the Day: Stories of Women and Men ★★★★☆
Short story's in one book, three to be exact. Claire Keegan, a Irish writer, wrote three stories that exist within the issues of gender dynamics and how they narrate their own life and how they interact with everyone in corrupt manners.
I thoroughly enjoyed these stories as they were short but very interesting! I loved reading the pages and just psychoanalyzing the characters as I went, finding so many things they have done wrong.
I would recommend this book but I do warn for misogyny, kidnapping, SA and DA.
Henry V ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Never thought I would read Shakespeare, until I heard of Henry V, well.. I found a Henry V book at a second hand book shop that held cats! and let me tell you something, I LOVED IT. I put the book on my top four favorites on StoryGraph.
The story is about Henry V, a reckless prince turning to king who changes himself and his behavior from the past to become dutiful for his country. He tries to claim the land of France as he wages war with the French.
PLEASE READ THIS PLAY IF YOU LIKE SHAKESPEARE AND HAVEN'T GOT TO READ HENRY V, I BEG YOU!!!
I also found a show that reenacted the plays which is 'The Hollow Crown' which I did enjoy, mostly because I thirsted over Tom Hiddleston who did play Henry V.
Coriolanus ★★★★☆
Another Shakespeare play I have read and watched equally.
A roman General Cauis Marcius Coriolanus, he defends Rome against a enemy army and gets his praise from Rome which leads the senate to make him a consul, although, he cant get anyone's vote and soon believes that Romes voices can not be heard or have privilege to be heard if they haven't dripped a drop of blood for Rome which makes him banished from Rome and he then collaborates with the enemy.
His mother tries to convince him not to go after Rome after that, his ally calls him out on his betrayal.
I watched the play as well, that play being 'National Theatre Live: Coriolanus' (2014) which I have watched twice... also staring Tom Hiddleston...dont come after me for that, hes hot, dont blame me!
Yea that's all I have for this month, I haven't finished PHM or Phantom of the Opera like a coward BUT I will try in September!
