So, this isn't the first time I've brought up stuff related to school, but I recently started shopping for the incoming school year, and it got me thinking about how it's the last time I'll be shopping for back to school.
I remember being super excited to shop for school supplies when I was in elementary school. Every year, I got supplies that seemed more and more "big kid" or "grown up". I got to use colored pencils instead of crayons, and pens instead of pencils. But then, I started to realize that as the years go on, school supplies start to lose their color and fun.
So, I decided to make the most out of my last year at school. I bought some fun notebooks to encourage myself to keep better notes. I'm planning on getting colorful pens and highlighters. Hell, I'm even considering getting stickers to jazz up my notes (mostly to mark what needs review, or what's the most important in my notes).
If anyone else is also feeling like school supplies are becoming drab, I highly recommend this hack. I'll be sure to update if this method of making school more fun has had any effect on my academic performance.
