Banshees are so cool you don’t even under stand

Banshees are a big part in Irish culture- specifically death. We all know that banshees used to scream to warn loved ones of someone’s death right ? Well, this is this practice we do at funerals called keening ! It’s a sort of low slow yell It’s a form of mourning connected with banshees ! At funerals loved ones will keen for hours at a time, and sometimes will hire women to keen for them. It can also be used in songs and performances to invoke a sense of dread and lament.
