Delilah has a specific image I have cultivated over the years. I've had her for quite some time, her earliest versions existing as early as the 50s, so she has a very developed character. Performing her has become second nature.

To create her outfits I have a series of rules. This is why Delilah's signature style includes of tights, gloves, and turtlenecks, and also how she ends up being so tall.
Rules:
- Must cover both legs, both hands, and the neck
- Must be in heels at least 6 inches
- Must have large hair
Why do I have these rules, you ask? The first rule is to cover any glaring scars that would get in the way of the image, including my scales, furred hand, and discolored neck. When Delilah was first performed, she was meant to be a complete separation from me. Covering those was an easy place to start. The fact she is in heels was also original a separation from the self, though later I started wearing heels regularly regardless and the rule because that her heels must be larger than my everyday heels. The hair was originally to try to distract from the scar on my eye which I, really, cannot hide. Today, it is more because of the silhouette. Delilah is so incredibly tall that the hair helps balance it out.
A lot of other drag queens pad their bodies. I do not. It's a personal preference. Next time you watch Delilah Bitchins perform, take note that my bottom is natural.
Delilah's makeup is very simple. She wears only eyeshadow and mascara on the eye, and she over-exaggerates her lips. The most garish part is the lips. If I had any lips to speak of I would just use those, but I am lacking in that department.
In my most recent performances with Ginny & Jenny, Delilah has taken on an almost motherly role. As I've gotten older and become a teacher, Delilah has mellowed out with me. Her character is no longer entirely showing off her body but now lets her personality shine through, and I've never been happier to perform her.
